To start

I am 35 years old with brown hair and hazel eyes.

   I weigh 119 pounds ( I know, I'm small)
and stand 5' 9" tall.

              CAREER OVERVIEW

I was medically retired from the United States Army on 16 June 1996.

My MOS (Military Occupational Specialty) was a Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Specialist.

My Career started in 1987 at St. Louis, Missouri where I was improcessed and shipped off to Ft. Jackson, South Carolina.

I completed 8 weeks of basic training and then started my first official tour with the 4th Chemical Company at Camp Casey, Korea.

My duties there included Smoke, and Decontamination operations and many days of either freezing my tail off or feeling wet and miserable.

While there, i joined the Silver Star Outlaws and found a family that has gone with me throughout my life so far.  My family name is SLASH for any members interested in contacting me.

My tour started in 1987 and completed in August of 1988.   Upon completion of this tour i was then reassigned to Ft. Bliss, Texas where i learned that i did'nt know                                              squat about my job.

I was the NBC NCO (Nuclear,Biological and Chemical Specialist  Non-commissioned Officer), supply clerk, and S-1 idiot for the 4th of the 3rd Armored Calvalry Unit.

My duties included issueing, maintaining, ordering and repairing equipment related to my job.  My duties also included handling payrolls, certificates, evaluations, rewards,
and company su pply needs.

As you can see, there's a lot more to my job than just NBC.   I quickly learned what being in the Army really ment....
Everybodys little fill the position when necessary.

I left Ft. Bliss on June of 1990 and was reassigned to Schoffield Barracks, Hawaii where i finally just became another Joe.... So i thought.

I soon learned Paradise was just another word for lots of work which was just as well since Rock Fever was soon to become a term i associated with very well.

I really enjoyed this tour, the benefits and all the beauty it had to offer.  If i could do it again, this is the tour i would elect to choose.

My duties were the same as Ft. Bliss with the exception where i became an Armorer and Squad Leader of 7 men for the 71st Chemical Company.

This tour was unique in the fact that we traveled a lot to various training sites.  I really got to see a lot of the US and other countries while on tour there.

When the time came for me to leave, i was heart broken but definintly ready to go.  The Island of Oahu is so small you can experience it all within one week so you                       can imagine how routine the old haunts can become.

I left Hawaii in 1993 and was reassigned to Ft. Stewart, Georgia where my career took a plunge for the worse.  It was here that my health had deteriorated and i found myself looking for new avenues of employment and adventure.

While at Ft. Stewart i was assigned the duties of the Compay NBC NCO for the 11th Engineers and assissted the Battallion NBC NCO during the times when he was unable to be present.

On June of 1996 i was medically discharged from the Army and started a new career with Kay's Transportation Company,  A Non-Emergency ambulance service that provided services to the handicapped, nursing homes, medicaid/medicare recipients and many other organizations.

This was a truely satisfying job if you enjoy working with the public and helping your neighbors out in their times of need.

As much as i loved this job, i decided to leave in July of 1998 to return home and be closer with my family in Mobile, Alabama.

I have been here ever since and presently work with Wal-mart in the Garden Center.  I will be returning to college in June of 1999 and pursue a career in Computer Science and Business.

Now that you know a little about my background, Let's find out where i come from and who my family is.
